Cool, but it needs to be mastered better. The clipping throughout the whole track is really annoying :/

larrynachos responds:

yeah

This song kind of reminds me of like... how everyone is so caught up in their little isolated personal worlds... but they don't realize there is so much more out there... like in space and whatever... I don't know. Whatever it is, it's giving me nonstop chills and I'm getting a dopamine rush every 5 seconds while listening xD This is phenomenal work man, I don't know how you get these ideas, but this is just... insane. I wish music like this was more popular. It's usually looked down upon in today's society, like "Oh wow is that dubstep? Dubstep isn't real music." I get really made when people say that, because I hear songs like this and appreciate and love every moment of it. ;D

Cheers,
~Z

Haha, I was just going to respond to your comments on SoundCloud...

I love the way you interpret it, feels amazing to be able to give people such experiences.
I get your point, but they are right... Electronic music isn't "real" music, it's fucking UNREAL! ;D
It isn't for everybody, though. But I feel you, I really do. "Music now a days" isn't real music (seriously), at least in my way of defining music. It just isn't "art made from peoples souls", but mostly just something they make to earn money.
It's a simple trick, making as much people as possible like it as much as possible, not digging too deep into the individual (or themselves for that matter), but just look over the crowd and say "this will most people like".
And it works great, because most people aren't "music lovers"(sorry if I offend anyone), but "real" music lovers in my opinion dig deep into every genre and style and search for "real" artists making "real" music that suits THEM, that they really LOVE, and not just enjoy "enough". (Or maybe people are just too lazy, or I'm crazy, I don't know...)

Well, thank you very much for your comments!
Glad I can be an inspiration!
Keep it up!
<3

Most of the things I would have said about it have already been said. I would give constructive criticism like I usually do, but I think you know why I'm giving you a 2.5/5!

Cheers m8 :D

yeah haha i agree with the score for sure, some of these reviews were really on point :) feel free too leave some feedback on some of my other songs as i really do appreciate everyone's help and advice <3

Not to bad, but the vocals are really annoying. At the drop you need more, its just empty... maybe a synth instead of those vocals. It's also lacking a lot of power. It's really random too... it didn't really make my ears happy... if you know what I mean.

I know I sad a bunch of bad stuff all at once so it must seem like I hate the song, but it's just criticism mate xD 3/5

Cheers,
~Z

larrynachos responds:

Fair enough lol. Thanks for the feedback!

The start seems bland, needs more noises. The sound design of the synth could be better too
I like the arp.
I feel like this beginning is too repetitive. It needs more stuffs 8)
The drop is not bad, I don't like the synth to much, but thats just me.
Overall this is really repetitive, but maybe thats just because the original didn't give you much melodic elements to work with.
Another drop. I think you should bring in more of a dubstep-ish snare
I really like this bell lead!! It fits well with the arp. Add a violin or something and it would sound awesome :D
The drop could have used some white noise in the buildup and more at impact. (same goes for the other 2)
Overall, you've got a pretty neat track. It's not amazing, a lot could be worked on. It's repetitive, needs some better sound design (that may just be me), and could use more instruments/background noises if you know what I'm talking about. 3/5 mate :)

AntaresGD responds:

I do think that it is really repetitive while working with it, but I decided to maintain the structure of the original version, as this is just a cover. The original really didn't give me too much to work with, and I personally don't like adding personal melodies into remixes or covers.

And of course, I forgot to add white noise. AGAIN.

I hear the classic GeoPlex progression :3

I feel like the drop could have used a bit more white noise building up to it and during the impact :P

I like the little "PloK" sounds, though I feel they are too loud. They seem much louder than the drums and everything else. This may just be me, but it's what I'm noticing.

I actually just copied and pasted this from what I said to you on SC lol xD have a good day mate! :D

~Z

Geoplex responds:

Haha you too man. Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't sure how loud to make the little donk/plok sounds. In actuality, they're much quieter than the drums, but because of how limiting works (and the fact that they play on their own) they probably sound a little louder.

Cheers :)
